To successfully register as a dancing couple, both of you have to apply for the same level. Make sure you choose the appropriate level for both.
Each of you has to fill out a separate registration form. Under the "name of your dance partner" box just state your partners name and inversely.
Payment has to be made within 5 days after submitting the online registration form and within the period you have registered!
Couples application is successful only when both have registered, payed and received a confirmation e-mail from us.
There will be a quick group audition held before the start of the workshops, to check if all of you have applied for the correct level and if necessary you will be put into a different level. It may happen that your partner will have to switch levels with you.
But don't worry! Auditions are a good thing! If transfered to another level, you'll get classes and instructions that are more suitable for you at the moment. You'll learn more, better and be happier!
Level 1 - Intermediate
This level is suitable for those who are dancing swing for at least one year. You are already able to maintain the connection with your dancing partner while you are combining different moves, for example Texas Tommy and Charleston tandem. Your dancing is already relaxed and fluid. You are also able to dance on faster songs. You are confident in making transitions between Lindy hop and Charleston. You are dancing from 1 to 2 years.
Level 2 - Intermediate /Advanced
You can already feel and hear the the different 'colours' of music and are able to adjust your dancing to it. You are able to follow and lead also on faster rhythms.
You have a versatile and rich knowledge of dance figures and you can easily conquer more difficult and complex movement. Faster music is your inspiration, not a threat 😉
On this level you will upgrade your rich dancing knowledge and your teachers will surprise you with some fresh, new and challenging dance material, which will definitely add a great value to your already acquired dancing knowledge. You are dancing from around 2 to 4 years.
Level 3 - Advanced
You should be able to comfortably lead or follow swingouts to higher tempos and switch between Lindy hop and other swing dance styles with ease. You are also comfortable in making the free combination of steps, triples steps, kicks and ball-changes. You're an advanced dancer and you are able to dance comfortably with pretty much anybody to any music.
On this level you will upgrade your ability to adjust your movement to the music, improvisation and creativity. This level is recommended fo those who dance 4 years and more.

Every day of the festival, in the afternoon (during the break), there will be various types of lunch available. You can choose between meat, fish or vegetarian main course - regardless of you chosen type of lunch you get a side salad and dessert
We will enjoy our lunch nearby , in the restaurant Ancora, which is only 5 minutes walking distance from the workshops.
